Pre-Spring Fling

Are you feeling it? It’s not quite spring but so close and the weather’s so nice FINALLY that you simply have to get out and about day and night?

I sure do. I’m loving seeing people, experimenting with new spring menu ideas, and generally just feeling like a little more Vitamin D from the sun is cause for a smile.

So in celebration for spring almost officially being here I’m throwing a week-long Pre-Spring Fling at AVA that’s full of specials and themes and just a little bit of fun to get you out and about and stopping by to feel the love.

Pre-Spring all week long

Tuesday: Join us for St. Paddy’s Day with Irish specials on all night and an open music and singing jam including traditional Irish folk and fiddle tunes. The menu? St. Patrick’s fare of Corned Beef and Cabbage, Colcannon, Guinness and Cheddar Stew, and Soda Bread. And $3 Irish stout drafts tonight only!

Wednesday: For hump day it’s Wine Down Wednesday where your second glass of wine is half off. Come work off your cabin fever with some wonderful new vintages we’ve got on the list — you’ll love it.

Thursday: It’s Eat Light Night. You know after a winter like we had getting out wasn’t easy and rich food made you feel warm. Well now it’s time to think about baring skin and living lighter so in celebration I’m offering a few vegetarian and vegan specials along with 1/2 price salads. It’s nice to go meatless some nights even if you otherwise love the stuff. So come try something on the lighter side.

Friday: How long since you’ve gotten together with your girlfriends? It’s a Girls Night Out at AVA with sparkling wine specials and $2 off our appetizers.

Saturday: Wrap up the week and celebrate the first day of spring with a light two-course Prix Fixe Dinner and one glass of wine for $35 each. The menu will be fun and the mood excited as we say goodbye to Old Man Winter!
